Objective of the role:

To create design and artwork solutions that fulfil marketing briefs. You will be able to work from initial concepts based on our corporate guidelines with a keen eye for detail and develop those design concepts through to artwork production for output – whether print of digital output. You’ll work effectively as part of the In-house Marketing team to deliver on brand creative for our ongoing marketing campaigns.


You will also be excited about the opportunity to work with wider mediums such as video and digital platforms (Inc. social media and email marketing) and the generation of content for delivery across all marketing channels.


Key responsibilities:

o     Be aware of your day-to-day scheduled workload and deliver key projects on time.

o     Take briefs and, working with the Marketing and Management team, produce on creative against objectives set that is on brand.

o     Create well considered and rationalised design work, developing designs based on brand guidelines and preparing files for production.

o     Keep relevant members of the Cablecraft team regularly updated on the status of ongoing projects that you are working on.

o     Attend briefings, updates and presentation meetings where appropriate, helping to ensure that all output for presentations is presented professionally for the Cablecraft Team.

o     Demonstrate a basic ability to assess whether creative work is on brief.

o     Demonstrate a desire to build upon your skill set and add new skills to the team.

o     Proofing of documents before production/go live.



Knowledge, skills and experience

You will have:

o     Ideally, but not essential, a design qualification

o     ideally, but not essential, 2 years commercial experience in a design role

o     a good understanding of design processes and a basic understanding of marketing principle

o     a good understanding of production techniques and technologies for print and digital channels.

o     good writing skills

o     a strong eye for detail.

o     an understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point).

o     a sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Applications and all other creative applications relevant to the performance of your duties.

o     good organisational and time management skills.

o     good presentation and communication skills.

o     enthusiasm, confidence and a willingness to learn in our fast-

moving environment.

o     a positive and self-motivated personality.

o     a professional, smart and well-groomed appearance.
