Whilst many of our competitors conduct telephone interviews, our applicants are only included on our database following a face-to-face or a unique and indepth telephone interview. This covers a thorough analysis of the candidate’s CV, experience and qualifications allowing us to ensure their aspirations in terms of role, responsibility and financial expectation meet your own. This is of paramount importance to us both for ensuring that every candidate presented to our clients meets all specifications and to enable us to build a strong relationship with the applicant so that they have confidence in our ability to guide and support them through their decision making process.

Referencing is an integral part of our service and where possible we will reference candidates prior to them commencing a permanent position or temporary assignment.

Red Accountancy specialises in recruitment for the finance and accountancy sector and can provide temporary, permanent and contract staff. We have grown our reputation by channelling our collective experience into a smaller company with a local focus, affording ourselves the ability to react most efficiently to the demands of our clients and candidates.

We understand the importance of establishing long term partnerships within the local business community and red Accountancy is ideally situated to service these relationships from the convenience of our town centre offices. We chose to base ourselves within the heart of the action so that both clients and candidates alike can benefit from the personal contact our proximity to them allows.

Our advertising process mean that our Clients’ are receiving a constant flow of available candidates for selection. All vacancies are immediately placed onto our own website and we use several main job search websites to suit specific requirements.

We have extensive experience with many forms of advertising in various media including the national press, specialist industry journals and local newspapers. We regularly liaise with clients own advertising agencies on their behalf and have carried out a number of recruitment campaigns using our client’s logo.

A large percentage of our candidates are recommended by friends and colleagues and we work extremely hard to ensure that all our candidates receive such a high level of service they want to tell their friends about us.

Prior to a candidate being submitted for permanent assignments a full in-depth interview will be completed and references will be obtained where possible

Once we have completed the preliminary screening every candidate will be contacted and fully briefed with all the vacancy information to ensure their interest before they are submitted to the client’s short list to be considered for interview.

Once interviews have been agreed we will liaise with both the Resourcing Manager and the applicants throughout first and second interview stage. At each stage we will gather feedback from applicants to keep you fully informed.

At offer stage we will manage the whole process to ensure that both parties are kept updated and will handle all the necessary administration including ‘holding’ of applicants whilst decisions are made. We will follow the Client’s approved procedures regarding job offers and rejections.

Where a candidate is placed in a permanent position we telephone the relevant manager on the first morning to ensure that the applicant has arrived and then at the end of the first working week to ensure that both parties are satisfied. We then call to a previously agreed timescale over the next three months to ensure expectations are met and quality standards are maintained.

We will take comprehensive details of your requirements for each temporary assignment and timescales will be agreed for confirmation of the candidates’ details. We would normally confirm a candidate for each booking within 30 minutes for a same day booking, 1 hour for next day bookings and by Wednesday for a booking for the following week.

Prior to a candidate being submitted for temporary assignments a full in-depth interview will be completed and references will be obtained where possible.

A quality check call will be made by the consultant on the first morning of each assignment to ensure safe arrival and that a satisfactory standard of work is being performed. If a temporary proves to be unsuitable within the first four hours of their assignment there will be no charge. For ongoing assignments a call will be made to agreed timescales to ensure high standards of work are maintained.
